Carry forward and setoff short term loss

10 April 2010 Hi,

Is short term capital loss on listed equity shares i.e. 15% can be set off against LTCG/STCG (STCG other than listed securities)? In case carry forward then in next ay stcl on listed securities can be setoff against stcg of listed securities only?

reply to second question STCL on listed securities can be setoff against both STCG on listed securities and LTCG / STCG (STCG other than listed securities).
