19 October 2012 I am a chartered accounted and have been appointed in a delhi based co.but i dont wanted to deduct my PF so till date salary is drawn from one of its sister concern. My question is if my relieving letter would be from sister concern and it would be written that i was handling whole of group companies whether other cos.would accept it?

19 October 2012 It is mandatory for any concern to deduct PF if no. of emplyees is 20 or more during any working day.

if your company falls under such criteria then it will deduct PF from your salary.

if its your fist employment or your previous employers have not deducted pf ever and you don't want PF to be deducted then you should submit the Form No. 11 to your employer.

19 October 2012 Actually sir at the time of the joining i did n't have idea about the form no.11 and drawing salary from one of its sister concern

19 October 2012 how long have you been working with them??

If PF once deducted and deposited, and annual returns have been filed then nothing can be done.

Pls check whether all these completed or not.

19 October 2012 Hi

It doesnt matter from where your salary is drawn but your appointment letter matters more.

20 October 2012 Mr. gajendra you are not getting my point. I am drawing salary from one of its sister concern where PF is not applicable. My question is if i would get relieving letter from sister concern then what matter should be written to show that i was handling all the companies in group.
