04 December 2010 DEAR SIR,

I HAVE COMPLETED BCOM FROM MUMBAI UNIVERSITY IN 2003 & REGISTERED FOR CA - PE II , BUT DUE TO FINANCIAL PROBLEMS I HAVE QUIT. NOW I HAVE AROUND 06 YRS OF EXP. IN ACCOUNTING (PAYMENTS) . I WOULD LIKE TO DO ANY COURSE ALOGWITH JOB, IS IT POSSIBLE TO COMPLETE CA NOW OR IS IT TOO LATE ?
IF NOT CA,THEN PLS. GUIDE FOR CWA/CS/MCOM OR ANY OTHER PART TIME COURSE IN MUMBAI.
PLS. HELP

04 December 2010 Looking towards the gap in study it is not advisable at this stage to do CA. Without complete devotion towards study, Ca Exams. can not be passed.
It will be better for you to go for CS as this course can be completed while staying in Job also.

Pls. tell me which one will be the appropriate course for me as per my experience-icwai/cs/mba

Can you pls tell me how do I complete icwai/cs alogwith current job; as both these courses needs practicle training ?.
Pls. suggest how do I manage timings to study?
I am a average student, can not study on my own, needs to join coaching? Pls. guide.

You agree that you are an average student and you will require coaching. First you discuss with your current employer whether he would permit you to take leave. As you are a graduate you can directly appear in CS Executive Course, where passing ratio is more than CA. CA will be a tough task for you now. In CS you will have more theory subjects in compare to any other course and the Module prepared by the ICSI are the best one. You can learn theory subjects at anywhere. For Practical subjects you may conveniently join tuition classes in the morning or in the evening. Practical subjects are Accounts, Taxation and Cost Accounting. As you have got enough exposure in Accounts, there will be no difficulty to you. Most of the CS students are doing their courses by continuing their jobs. For Practical training also SIP Programs are arranged at Chapter levels. These program will boost up your level of thinking. You would not have to bother about your job as your knowledge at that point of time will suggest you the way and how to proceed on it.

But I am finding it very difficult to choose between ICWAI/CS/MBA.
I would like to do audit, is it possible to move from present exprience to audit.If yes, which will be the course I should go for & How ?
