In my Company (related to print media) we have purchased a software in place of old one, due to which there is a saving of ink upto 10% and Image quality will also enhanced . But it has no impact on life of machine i.e machine life will be same. software has perpetual life and may be changed if new upgraded one is available.
My question is whether future Ink saving may be treated as increase in future Economic benefit and the cost of software should be capitalised...
