IF AN INDIVIDUAL HAVE CAPITAL GAIN CAN HE CLAIM SET OFF WHEN HE CONSTRUCTS A HOUSE AND THAT HOUSE IS PROPERTY UNDER HIS HUF STATUS.

First write in which item capital gain is earned
Second if you buy the house in the name of HUF and earned capital gain in individual you will not get exemption for purchase of house property in individual

Individual and HUF are separate status and there benefil can not be availed.
