Hi.,
I have received payment of rs.700000 towards sales consideration of flat which is Rs. 800000 in March 2010,bt agreement is executed on April 2010.
Capital gain taxability will arise in which year...
Whether in A.Y. 10-11 coz of sec 53A of transfer of property act 1882 (TOPA)...
or in A.Y. 2011-12 as agmt is executed in that year...
plz clarify..
