Can we take cenvat of 6-jun- 13 invoice

20 February 2014 Dear Sir,

We had payment of Invoice of Jun 2013.We forgot taken cenvat of service on this invoice ,we have filed service tax return of 1st half year.

my question is that we can take cenvat on this invoice or not.

20 February 2014 CENVAT credit can be taken anytime. It is NOT necessary that the credit must be taken as soon as the invoice is received. It can be taken at a later date also.
