Can I less deduct TDS if........

29 November 2008 If Co. is Deducted TDS on Rs. 40000/- (Amt. Cr. in Apr.08) but in next month i.e. May 08 revised the amount Rs.30000/-(for month of Apr.08), In next month Credited to Rs. 30000/- Can I pay less TDS by Rs.10000/- in May 08????
