Can god becomes partner in a partnership firm?

This query is : Resolved

18 January 2013 Dear All,

Here's something interesting:

One of my client wants to make a partnership firm having 3 partners:

1. My client himself
2. His Brother and,
3. GOD (yes GOD, the almighty, BHAGWAN)

Is it practically possible?

On a serious note, I have seen ledger accounts in the name of GOD in various marwari firms(as a part of spiritual emotions). But, is there any such provision in any act or law to include GOD as a partner(ofcourse dummy).

Over to all the experts.

19 January 2013 Hey

Partner can be defined as "A person who takes part in an undertaking with another or others, esp. in a business or company with shared risks and profits."

Since God is not a person hence God can not be included as partner under any present law in india.

Thanks!!
