Campus placement and orientation programme

27 July 2012 Hi all . I have just cleared my CA.

Now as initial step ,i am registering for Campus placement in Mumbai institute ( Since i am from Mumbai).

But i am confused for orientation programme.
There is no orientation programme in Mumbai but certain dates for orientation are given for other cities.

Does that mean all mumbaikars freshly qualified CA have to go to that other city just to attend the orientation.

Further Is attendance in orientation compulsory ?

27 July 2012 Of course YES. But why are you in such a HURRY. Cool down. Nobody is going to snatch away your mark list of ICAI. Or like thousand others, you are also not BELIEVING in yourself that you have cleared CA examination? Do it as per your convenience.
