i just wanted to know that in campus placement what type of jobs are normally offered by companies and also how would we know that which company is going to come for campus placement and for what post they are looking for? is it better to apply for campus placement or directly search for the job??

Campus placement registrations are done on www.cmii.icai.org.
Once you register yourself, the website will show the name of all the companies that are coming there for placement. Their prsentations are also uploaded on the site. By watching those presentations you can get all the details about the company as well as the job.
