17 June 2008 In the campus there is rule that no co. shall fill the bond from the selected canditates related to time period.Now there are many co. which are saying that you have to give notice period of three months before resign. Is this practice right or wrong under the ICAI rules.If yes then what is the Max. notice period. plz enlight me on this issue.

ICAI has given rules for teh Bond and not for notice period. Every company has its own policy for the notice period. And, it depends on case to case what shall be the ideal notice pay. However, you just need to check that, if the notice pay told to you is 3 months is this the same for all the employees in that organization
