Hello to all of you I'm NIRDESH SINGH from Jaipur. I'm writing this post to get some advice/suggestion or whatever that is called. I took my CA FINAL attempt in NOVEMBER 2018, after which I gave up and started my own company, based in LUCKNOW. Now, after almost 3 years, I've decided to re-start my CA FINAL preparation. But I'm feeling low as there has been a gap and I don't know from where to start over!! And I'm feeling like I've lost grip over my basics. So, please suggest to me how should I start, what or which group should I go to first, etc. As, after reading this, you have understood that I'm in a full-time job and it'll not be so easy for me to spend the amount of time I could've spared if I was preparing without any job. So, I request you to please suggest to me some remedies, teachers from whom I should pursue my classes (pen drive only). And most importantly, how should I revalidate my CA FINAL registration as it has expired, and after revalidating, will I be getting registered for the new course or apply fresh to convert my registration to a new course?
Hope to hear wise words and suggestions from you all.
It's great that you're planning to restart your CA Final preparation. Here's a step-by-step approach to help you get back on track:
1. **Reassess Your Knowledge:** Start by evaluating where you stand currently. Since there has been a gap, it's natural to feel rusty. Begin with a thorough review of the basics and foundational concepts. You can refer to your old study materials or find comprehensive resources online.
2. **Choose Your Study Material:** Since you prefer pen drive classes, look for reputed teachers or coaching institutes offering CA Final classes in this format. Teachers like R.S. Agrawal, Praveen Sharma, or others known for their structured approach and clear explanations can be good options. Ensure their classes cover the syllabus comprehensively.
3. **Decide on Exam Groups:** Assess whether you want to tackle both groups simultaneously or one at a time, considering your full-time job. Starting with one group might be more manageable initially, allowing you to focus your efforts effectively.
4. **Revalidating CA Final Registration:** To revalidate your CA Final registration, you'll typically need to contact your regional ICAI office. They can guide you through the process of renewing your registration, which may involve submitting an application and paying a revalidation fee.
5. **Transition to New Course (if applicable):** If your registration has expired, you may need to convert it to the new syllabus if you choose to continue under the new scheme. This involves additional steps and fees, which the ICAI office can advise you on.
6. **Time Management:** Balancing your job and studies requires effective time management. Set realistic study schedules that fit around your work commitments. Consistency is key, so allocate dedicated study time each day or week.
7. **Stay Motivated:** Getting back into study mode after a break can be challenging. Set short-term goals and celebrate small achievements along the way to stay motivated. Surround yourself with a supportive network of peers or mentors who can encourage you.
By following these steps and maintaining a disciplined approach, you can regain your momentum in preparing for CA Final. Best of luck on your journey ahead!
