I passed out CS exams at first go.. But, I failed in CA Final old course for 3 times.. Now with under 2 months to go for exams, how can I prepare myself for the upcoming November attempt for CA Final Old Course?
My weak subjects are Accounting, MICS, IDT...
I love solving problems of MAFA, but I am unable to deliver the same in exams..
Audit, Law, Costing, is not a major problem. I can cope up with them.
DT is very much unpredictable.
Its not that I am disheartened or so, but running low on confidence. Thoughts come to my mind to skip this attempt and go directly for the May'11 attempt.
My marks for May'10 exams were: Accounts-43 MAFA-34 Audit-42 Law-51 Costing-48 MICS-42 DT-54 IDT-43

Look Harsh, u have to understand that u r an old syllabus student. Nov '10 will b the last attempt for old syllabus students. if u skip this term u will have to prepare again for CA final under new syllabus. my advice to u is that u should set aside thoughts of skipping this term and work hard on MICS and IDT. as for MAFA u should consult 'Compilor' (that contains previous years solved questions) and see whether u r following all necessary steps while solving the questions. sometimes students solve the questions correctly but do not show all necessary steps in the answers, which makes it very difficult for examiner to give marks.
