To appear for CA Final exams under the new scheme (as per ICAI regulations), candidates who have converted from the old scheme generally need to complete the mandatory Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (AICITSS) and the Advanced Auditing and Professional Ethics (AAPE) course. Here’s what you need to know:
1. **AICITSS Course:** This course is mandatory for all students who have registered for the Final Course under the new scheme. It includes both Information Technology (IT) and Orientation Programs (15 days) and Advanced Information Technology (AIT) (15 days). AICITSS Orientation is to be completed before starting articleship, and AIT is to be completed before the commencement of the final examination.
2. **Advanced Auditing and Professional Ethics (AAPE) Course:** This course is compulsory for students before appearing in the CA Final Examination under the new scheme. It covers advanced aspects of auditing and ethical considerations in professional practice.
3. **Other Courses:** Apart from AICITSS and AAPE, candidates may need to complete other mandatory courses or modules as prescribed by ICAI, depending on their specific situation and the latest regulations at the time of conversion.
It’s crucial for the candidate to check their specific requirements and eligibility criteria on the ICAI website or contact the nearest ICAI branch or helpline for accurate and updated information. The completion of these courses ensures that the candidate meets all necessary prerequisites to appear for the CA Final exams under the new scheme and prepares them adequately for the examination based on the revised syllabus and requirements.
