I am Final CA Student registered as articled assistant in October 2006. My 3 ½ years of articleship gets completed in April 2010. As per current guidelines of ICAI, I have not taken excess leave. Q.1) Assuming I do not take excess leave till April 2010, will I be able to take May 2010 Final Exams ? Q.2) Assuming the other way round, If I take excess leave, then still will I be able to appear for May 2010 Final Exams ? In that case, Can I do extension of articles after the exams?
