22 May 2012 these are good books actually however i would suggest to use latest versions for AS & SAs and for Auditing go with Paduka instead VK Agarwal becuase VK agarwal book is very compact its like taking chance in Exam.

23 May 2012 Dear vivek dwivedi sir,

thanks for valuable suggestion

as per your suggestion

Accounts-MP VIjay kumar (new edition)
Accounting standars-DS Rawath(New edition)
SFM-Pattabhi(New edition)
Law-Munish bandari(new edition)
Auditing-Paduka(new edition)

is the above combination ok sir.

23 May 2012 and tell me sir, what is the best choice for a self studied one like me

whether to go with institute study material or above said books

please suggest me

Ramesh babu

23 May 2012 you can use old version for SFM (however new is recomended). Rest of the books are fine. in the Last print of MPVKumar therewer some printing mistakes hence new version is advisable. for Law use the thick book which is exhaustive for exam purpose. If you religiously follow these book you can score 60+ in each paper even by self study (at least my experience) If you wish yu can refer book on Stdn on Auditng by Rawath. I had secured 60+ in Accts, MAFA & Law with these books whereas 50 + in Audit.

Good Luck.
