10 June 2008 1. Can a CA in India act as a director of the company. If So, What is the limit?
2. Can a practising CA in India act as a director of the company? If So, What is the limit?

07 October 2009 Yes, he can become the Independent director only ans there is no limit.

After being director he or his firm can not enter transaction with the company and can not do audit of the company in which he is the independent director.
