09 March 2010 CAN A PRACTISING CA BE A PRACTISING LAWYER ALSO?

09 March 2010 Ca Regulations not allows a practicing CA to act at the same time in the capacity of other person.

So Not allowed.

09 March 2010 Agree, CA Act not allows.

10 March 2010 A Full Time COP holder cannot practice another profession. A Part Time COP holder may be able to do that? I m not sure.

I open up this query for suggestions on this.

11 March 2010 For practice as LAWYER, one has to get registered at Bar Association of the state from where he is granted a permission said as "SANATH". As per normal rules, they also not grant "SANATH" for the practising in other fields.

However, you may choose for Income Tax, Finance, Excise & Service Tax Laws, Commercial Tax in your current field too.

May provide consultancy services in corporate sector.

16 March 2010 no u cant
