to avail concessional rate of tax i.e.2% on purchase , you need to provide Form C to your seller. Form c can be submitted later also. but if you are dealing with your seller first time he may insist to provide Form C immediately. approach your assessing officer(Gujrat VAT ) he will issue form c after submission of some information
