C.A in judiciay

23 December 2007 I want to know, whether C.A is entitled to enter the field of judiciary, I mean can he become a JUDGE in INCOME TAX TRIBUNAL.

I came to KNOW from "Anonymous Source that C.A. can Appear Fof PCS(J) Exam of States, But I have DOubt on it.

24 December 2007 A CA can become a Accounts Member in an ITAT (Income Tax Appellate Tribunal). Visit http://icai.org/icairoot/publications/complimentary/cajournal_mar05/mar05p1256.pdf for further details.

He can also enter the judiciary (High Court or Supreme Court) if he has practised as an Advocate (besides being qualified as a CA), provided he satisfies the other conditions.
