construction of road in general term is exempt in the scope of service tax under sec. 65 but i want specifically any reference or case judgement of the said case.

A government employee is receiving arrears of salary for last 3 years starting from FY-2006-07.The entire arrears are getting deposited in his PF Account(as per govt policy).He can not take benefit of 80C beyond Rs.100,000/- but he can take benefit of relief under section 89.
Can anyone tell me while calculating tax of last 3 years for relief u/s 89 can i revise deduction u/s80C? As entire arrears are getting deposited in PF.If anyother remedy please suggest.

My question is regarding Tax Audit.

Mr A has a propreitorship concern where he is doing commission work for various companies. His total basic commission is less than Rs 40 Lakhs, but if we include service tax, surcharge & edu cess the same is above Rs 40 Lakhs.

Is his firm subject to TAX AUDIT.

Please advise.
