lease rent

say a person has given a land on lease for parking purpose to a Hotel. He is getting monthly lease rent. Now how this income would be treated. Is there any deduction on lease rent. Please answer

Exemption of Income from Fisheries

Dear Sir,

I would like to know that one of my client is having a Income from Fisheries. Basically he is a fisherman, He goes in to a deep sea for fish catching. He earned his income from selling of these catched fish.

Will he get the exemption ?? what Amount ?? under which section ??

Proxies Power

Please Clarify anyone -

In the Annual General Meeting proceedings,What is the powers/ rights of Proxies
- Can they speak on the debate(on the motion) ?
- Can One person represent as proxy for more than twenty members ?
-Proxies position-- Any proposal from the Member for the appointment of independent Director u/s 257(1) of the Companies Act( without the recommandations from the board)?
