Hello Experts,

If any company pays ROC Fees of Rs.90,000/- & Franking Charges Of Rs.45,000/-
For increase in authorised capital from Rs.5,00,000/- to 50,00,000/-
Whether this 1,35,000/- (90000+45000) should be capitalised or transferred to profit and loss account or
Treated as deferred revenue expenditure or Misc. expenditure to the extent not written off .

The company is not newly incorporated . it is 10 years old company .

TDS on labour

I am working in private contractor firm. Here they are paying weekly payments. Our auditor warns us not to make voucher which exceed Rs.20k. And also same name labour should not repeat.

How it is possible to maintain like above, as such for ex. painter labour will exceed around 50k per month. And he continues to next 3 to 4 months. How it is possible to account acc. to TDS limited to Rs.20k.

Please give me suggestion in this area particularly so as to come over from this head ache.

Exemption of Subject in PE II exam

One of my friend has appeared in PEII in May 2007 and got exemption in one subject (Account) in First group. Now, since then he could not clear the other two subjects in first group.

According to me, his exemption in account will be withdrawn in June 2009 as three attempts are completed from May 2007.

Am I right? Please comment.

Housing loan from father

My father wants to give a housing loan by cheque with a interest of 10 % .

If pay him quarterly interest and loan instalment can i get deduction from salary u/s 80C as a loan repayment and interest u/s 24 as loan interest payment up to Rs.1,50,000.

He will issue aletter to me and i accept the terms and condition.

what is the other way to get the loan.

winding up of a company

A Pvt. Ltd Co. having capital of Rs. 100000 and reserves of Rs. 150000/-, no bank loan, and some fixed assets and a loan from a director, wants to wind up. What will be the procedure?
Also, the balance left after meeting all obligations and liabilities will be treated as dividend or it simbply be divided into shareholders.
