I cleared my CA Inter in 1998 and since then I haven't given a single attempt for Final. I am giving my first attempt in May 08 ( group 1 only) . I have heard that students who don't clear by May 2009 will have to appear for new course. I have started studying after a break of 10 years and I am not sure of my prospects of clearing in 1st attempt. My query is suppose if I clear one group by then , how will Institute treat that in the new course. Will I be required to appear for these subjects again under the new sylabus?

Do they intend to put any restrictions on number of attempts for CA Final?

my question is to SIR KAPIL G THOKRE OR ANY ONE WHO CAN ANSWER hi sir in my previous question i had asked u about pcc elgibilty (i.e my frd has paseed cpt in may 2007 n he failed in 10+2 can he register for pcc after passing 10+2 in 2008 n sir u have said that he can register now .) but he is asking me how can he register without 10+2 pass certificate . pls answer sir.

I am currently registered under old scheme(in sept 2007) with articles of 3 years, next year I want to switch over to Final (New) course, So whether I am eligible to appear in Nov,2009 Final exam under new scheme or in may, 2010.

i want just a brief of the EPF ACT like wat is the minimum and maximum amt on which provident fund amt shud be deducted.....? wat is the last date of depositing the amt......? wa

THIS IS ANUPAM. I HAVE COMPLETED MY POSTAL COACHING. CAN I APPEAR IN THE BOTH GROUPS OF PE ii EXAMS HELAD ON MAY 2008 .

FURTHER CAN ANY BODY TELL ME WHTHER I CAN SWITCH TO PCC WITHOUT GIVING THE EXAMS OF CPT

I am PE-2 student...and i want to switch over 2 PCC...my 100 hrs IT Training is going on...

in such switch-over scheme , student have to
-regiter with PCC
-register with articled training
-100 hrs IT Training.

such student can appear in PCE (exam)without requirment of completion of 18 months of articleship... as per CA Act concerned.

MY QUERY:-

-can i start my articleship after passing out PCE exam...???
-tell me whether i have to undergo articleship with re-registration in PCC...
-whether i have to send application form for switching-over to PCC alongwith Form NO.102 & 103 or without Form NO 102 & 103.

My client is running a franchisee of computer training institution

By notification No:24/2004 CG exempts the computer training institution from collecting ST

But by notification 19/2005 the notification read as follows

"In the said notification,-
(i) in the opening paragraph, the following proviso shall be inserted at the end, namely:-

“Provided that nothing contained in this notification shall apply to the taxable services provided in relation to commercial training or coaching by a computer training institute.”;

My client is a ST Assessee from the issuance of notification of 19/2005

My query is in the notification 19/2005 use the word "inserted "
and whether the client is liable for collecting the ST from the right beginning ie from the year 2004.
