Verification of fixed deposit reciept.

we demand FDR or NSC as earnest money from bidders in in tender processing. The bidders use to give give fdr or nsc from different banks or post office of different places, which takes lot of time in verification from concerning branch. is there any procedure of online verification from where we may get quick result .

recently I visited ca institute international conference held at Kolkata, where Mr K Raghu told us to stay technologically updated, friends & sirs, my question to you is what type of technological upgradation does a ca student requires, is it just ms- word, excel, PowerPoint, tally or something different?
