Transfer of shares in electronic form

sir, my father wants to transfer shares held by him in electronic form to my demat account. kindly guide me regarding the procedure to complete the above transaction. an application was made to respective broker but he denied the same. please tell me about the remedy in case of such rejection

Basic servcice demat account

Respected Sir,
I am having one demat+trading Account with Angel Broking.Now I want to open BSDA with Sharekhan.
So, I just want to ask that whether firstly i have to close angel broking account and then open bsda or I can open directly?
Please help me.
