Dear Sir
I am an investor in F&O. Recently during crash in Share market on 21st January 2008, the broker had sent a mail to the branch office (Where my account is existing) to liquidate the stocks from their own side of those clients where funds in the account of client are not sufficient. This was told well in advance to me and I was also intimated by my branch office that no action is required by them as they themselves shall liquidate the stock and I need not worry. They had sent the emails to the branch office to do. But to my surprise they did not liquidate and the act was done on the very next day when the value of stocks had depreciated a lot. So how can I register the complaint agaist the broker who defaulted for what was told to me. I suffered irrepairable loss. I am in total despair. Please tell me if I can register the complaint and how can I go with that? What should be the first step? I can get the copy of the mail sent to Branch office for intimation of liquidation from their side. Kindly help me.

Dear Frenz
Hi, can anybody suggest a good book for understanding of buying and selling of shares in Indian Stock Market.
Sir,
Is anybody having any information about the stock RPL?
Dear Sir,
I am aggrieved by my broker
Fact of the case:
I bought 1000 shares of a company on January 01, 2008 with the expectation rise in the price. However my expectations went wrong and price of that stock started falling. So after two days I went to my broker's office and told him to sell back those shares at market price and he said that ok I will do that. That time price of the stock was by just 4 rupees.
However, next week when he called me to pay for shares I have bought on 1st January, I came to know that he did not sell my shares. On my argument, he said that your order was not preceded only. By now the price of the stock has fallen steeply and now it is traded at 15 Rs. Down than the price at which I had bought it. Finally, I sold these shares today and booked the losses.
Earlier, in one instance, I found a sell entry of some shares in my account which I never bought or sold short.
Please advice me whether I can file a complaint against my broker. If yes, on what grounds..?
Ritesh
