I'm in my final year of BCOM and I've cleared CPT exams, currently studying for IPCC May 2014.
My concern now is that, I have decided that I will not be doing my Final CA, but instead I want to take up ACCA.
Is that a good decision??? And if yes, should I still complete CA inter?
Would it hold additional value in terms of career prospects!

Please guide me on this!! All your opinions and suggestions will be appreciated .

I've done B.Com + PGDBM (Part time) & have around 11 years of experience working in finance & accounts. My work profile included financial accounting, payroll, compliance, mis,financial management etc. I worked mostly in a software company & few start-ups. My last designation was Finance Manager.

Please suggest me a good certification course which will help in my career graph.Also Is program from KPMG on DipIFR (ACCA) UK worth doing?

Presently I've taken a break & have around 3-6 months time.

Hi sir u joined in one firm 2 months ago and I want to take transfer to another firm now.my doubt is about 1. is it compulsory to take permission for transfer from icai. 2. is it compulsory to join in another firm immediately after taking transfer if not what is time recommended to join another firm. 3. if my boss not accepted for transfer can I take termination.

I'm CA, could you please help me how I can move toward M&A, Investment Banking career profile.... whether CA is sufficient or I need to do any other course i.e. certificate on valuation.

Can we apply for Membership after 6 years of passing CA Final exam or is there any provision that our student registration no. will expire after 5 year?. Do we need to pay revalidation fee, if we register after 6 year?
