Sir,
Budget'08 our FM granted 5 year holiday from IT to two,three & four star hotels established in specified districts having "UNESCO". Pls write me full form of UNESCO

Change of Medium after getting exemption in one paper

My friend "Anoop" has got exemption in Indirect Taxes in last exam.
Now he want to change his medium from hindi to english.
he also want to claim exemption in IDT.
Can he do so?

Eligibility of CPE Hours for Seminar/Workshop

Hi,

Recently I have attended two days workshop on REITs conducted by NISM. In this regard, just wanted to know whether this is eligible for CPE Hours credit.

If yes, Please advise how to claim this credit and whether It will fall under Structured or Unstructured category.

C.A. as Insurance agent

Hi I am CA, cleared in Nov 2007.I have been working as Insurance agent from August 2007. Now I have a doubt that can I, as a CA, continue my agency of insurance or not? Whether professional etics is applicable? Or if I want to continue my agency, then Can I get membership number or COP?
