and what is the effect, if appointment letter has notice period of 2 months will the employee has to serve for 2 even if he is in probation.

I am doing my Industrial training and it will terminate on March 2010. Can i apply for TNPSC , State Bank po posts because the duration for exam & appointment ranges 3 - 6 months and so can i apply now
My grandfather had given my dad some shares of grasim India but they never got transferred in my dads name.My grandfather passed away in 94 and my dad passed away in 2008.
My grandfather left no will. My grandmother is still alive though.

Can the validity of a letter of credit be extended after its expiry date, by way of letter from the issuing bank? My banker says that since the validity has already expired it can not be extended by way of an amendment
