07 September 2011 Sir, I want to know how to show bribe money given to ministers for government contractors show in accounts..i mean in which expense head...or should we show it in accounts or not?

07 September 2011 Dear Sir
I think you are the honestest person
in the world .
For your kind information bribe paid in any sort is punishable offense in India . More important that you want to show it in Your books of account .
Have you paid it by cheque that go ahead as donation to political parties and you can claim even exemption for the same contribution .
If you have paid by cash better not to record it .

Thanks

07 September 2011 Thank you very much Shri Shambhu Kumar Ji. Actually I am working as a book keeper with a construction company who deals in govt related projects and every month my boss gives bribe to ministers and govt. officials and forget and then ask me about the money. That time I feel helpless so wanted to record it...well thanx again for your guidance and help. I'll keep all these in separate records..
