This query is : Resolved

20 December 2014 Hi

How do we determine the book value of assets of an investment company (a company whos main object is invest in other listed and unlisted companies) as per rule 11UA?

26 December 2014 Dear Mansi,
AS per the Rule 11UA of Income Tax Rules the book value is considered as the NAV per share of the Company. In case you want to allot/ transfer shares at higher than the NAV then you can use the DCF method.
