This query is : Resolved

05 September 2009 I am studying in CA final. My friend suggested me to use the book of Author K.Vaitheeswaran of publication Snow White for IDT.Is it worth reading or should i continue with Bangar? Pls advice

05 September 2009 Hi,

As per my opinion continue your study with Bangar as it is student friendly book.

But a collection of different & good book is always welcome. So also buy K.Vaitheeswaran's book for reference.

All the Best

05 September 2009 You may go for the following options regarding other books for ca final:

For Accounts : M.P.Vijay kumar or Shukla & Agrawal along with Module And Compilation and for AS part go for D.S. Rawat
For Audit: Prakhar Sharma/Paduka/ V.K Agrawal
Note: (MP Vijay Kumar can be used for AS reference)
For Corp Law; Munish Bhandari
For Mafa: Module and Notes of Tarun Mahajan. You may also refer A.N Sridhar.

For Direct Taxes TN Manoharan (Theory part), Circular, Notification, Amendments, case law

For MICS: Module
For Costing: Saxena and vashist or Ravi M Kishore with module

Also refer Scanners and Suggested Answer issued by ICAI for previous year exams and revised them properly.

Best Regards

05 September 2009 As far as IDT is concerned, both Banger as well as Vaitheeswaran can be followed. Both books are good for examination point of view. But my sincere suggestion is READ ONLY ONE BOOK, i.e.EITHER BANGER OR VAITHEESWARAN, BUT COMPLETELY.

ALL THE BEST....
