plz tell truth, does more attempts closes the doors for article ship in big4?

Ideally big 4 prefers candidates with ranks,1st attempt or sometimes one with strong references.But this doesn't happen always.
Even if you don't get a chance to do articleship from big 4 just do it from a very reputed firm in your locality.Articleship exposure is more important.
