Query: A Customer (Lessee) acquires imported goods under operating lease basis. In this lessee obtain custom clearance and pays custom duties at applicable rates. For CVD & SAD lessee claims CENVAT Credit. Please clarrify the treatment of Basic Custom Duty in books of lessee.
