is it compulsory to give balance sheet with ITR...and under in which situation no compulsion to give balnce sheet

Balance sheet is not attached with ITR but if it is a books of accounts case balance sheet portion of ITR needs to be filled. If return is filed under no books case i.e. u/s 44AD there is no requirement to fill balance sheet portion in ITR. You can only show cash, debtors, creditors and stock.
