Auditors - appointments and removal

This query is : Resolved

16 October 2015 Respected Members, I run a small private limited company with a capital of Rs 1 Lakh, the company did not do any business in the last 3 years, this year I changed my auditors on 31.03.2015 and got the documents signed from them, now for ROC my new auditors are asking for filing of forms like ADT1, ADT2, I read section 139 but could not understand whether small or dormat companies will have to apply for ADT 1 or ADT 3 or other provisions regarding auditors, kindly clarify, i am very confused.
Thanks Sarjiwan Gupta +9855738904 ofc2us@gmail.com

19 October 2015 Basic procedure is that, when a Auditor resigns before his term, then the auditor is required to file Form ADT-3 And then company is required to appoint new auditor by filing ADT-1.

However, if you have changed auditor in AGM, then you do not need to file ADT-3 (filing of only ADT-1 is required)
