05 July 2014 auditor : any one become auditor and do work as auditor. it is not necessary he is qualified chartered accountant.

CA:who clear the exam. of The chartered Accountant act,1949 and follow the rule of institute.

05 July 2014 An Auditor is appointed by a company or enterprise to do Audit of its books of Accounts. A CA is Auditor.

CA is a professional course conducted by ICAI. A CA can't be auditor of ur company(if not appointed by the company). But an auditor must be a CA to conduct Audit.
