04 October 2013 Who does statutory audit of any Coop Credit Society in Mumbai?

Is it called an Internal Auditor? if so Why?

His report to the members is same as other statutory auditors gives in case of limited companies etc.

Internal auditor report goes to the management. It is periodical and gives report on internal control and their weaknesses.
