19 January 2011 Is it mandatory for a Director to be present at an AGM of a Pvt. Ltd. Co.?

Also whether an AGM can be held without the presence of any of the directors of a Pvt. Ltd. Company?

20 January 2011 Though it is not mandatory for a director to be present in AGM, he can be present in the meeting to present annual accounts of the company to the members or to face their queries, as decided by the management.
