04 October 2013 My sister was on a leave for around 10-12 days because of her severe backache and when we consulted the doctor, he suggested for complete bed rest for at least a month. She wishes to take transfer from her current firm on the medical basis but the doctor has provided medical certificate of a month only. What steps can be taken in this regard and what should be written in the application so that my sister gets transfer??

04 October 2013 transfer can be taken on medical grounds if sickness continues for atleast 3 month.1 month is not sufficient for transfer

04 October 2013 But the doctor said he cannot give medical certificate of 3 months in one go. He said he"ll provide another medical certificate after a month. What could be done then? Shall an application can be written to the institute mentioning this??

04 October 2013 yes write an application to institute as soon as possible and see their response.enclose all the medical documents sufficient enough to prove the severity of disease

04 October 2013 in the letter write about the disease/issue ,since how long she is suffering from the problem ,how did that happen and about the continuity of treatment and severity of disease,Do mention doctor's recommendation and enclose his certificate and treatement documents

04 October 2013 Yes, you can take transfer on such note,

Medical grounds requiring discontinuance of articles for a minimum period of three months (on production of a Medical Certificate issued by a Government Hospital).

The request on medical grounds of an articled assistant on a plain paper along with the recommendation / consent of the Principal for transfer /proof (self-attested by the articled assistant) to the satisfaction of the Institute is required to be made. Request for transfer not accompanied by consent of Principal shall not be accepted by the Institute.

04 October 2013 But sir the medical certificate provided is of a month only now, not of three months but the doctor said that my sister may require a treatment which may last for 3-4 months. What should be done then?
