Fee paid by DD along with the form 103 and the maximum leaves eligibility is 156 days for present scheme of articleship(i.e for 3 yrs articleship). The eligibility computation is 1/6th of the actual working days(i.e after deduction of leaves excluding holidays and adding of excess working days) For example let assume your net total leaves 156 days(after adding back of excess working days and excluding of holidays,Saturdays and Sundays) as per the ICAI you have work for 3 years of article ship i.e 365*3= 1095 days computation of eligibility leaves: Net working days/6. Here Net working days=Total working days-leaves(above said) Thus Net working days=1095-156=939 Eligibility leaves=939/6=156.5 days. Note: Saturdays and Sundays also counted as in articleship because these both days are provided as leave to the student as per ICAI. OM SAI SRI SAI JAI JAI SAI
