If you have already submitted Form 109 for transfer of articleship to a different state and it is pending approval from the regional office (RO), here are the steps you can consider to proceed:
### Steps to Consider:
1. **Submit Forms 102 and 103:** - Form 102: This form is for re-registration for articleship and needs to be submitted within 30 days of the termination of your previous articleship. - Form 103: This form is for consent of the new Principal and needs to be submitted along with Form 102.
2. **Additional Documentation:** - While Form 103 typically serves as consent from the new Principal, it might be prudent to include a written letter explaining your situation. You can mention that you have applied for transfer using Form 109 and that you are awaiting approval from the RO. Explain that you are submitting Forms 102 and 103 in the meantime to ensure continuity in your articleship training.
3. **Contact Regional Office (RO):** - Contact the RO where you have submitted Form 109 for transfer. Inquire about the status of your application and if there are any updates or additional documents required for processing.
4. **Consider Timing:** - Given the urgency to avoid deferral of your November 2023 attempt, it's crucial to start your articleship training as soon as possible. Submitting Forms 102 and 103 promptly helps in ensuring that there are no gaps in your articleship.
5. **Follow-Up:** - Follow up with both the new Principal and the RO regularly to expedite the process. Keep track of communication and any updates provided by the institute.
### Important Points to Note:
- Ensure that all forms are filled out correctly and completely. - Include any necessary documents or explanations to support your application. - Stay informed about any changes in ICAI guidelines or requirements by checking their official website or contacting their helpline if needed.
By following these steps and ensuring timely submission of Forms 102 and 103, along with communication with the RO and new Principal, you can help facilitate a smooth transition and minimize any potential delays in your articleship training.
