AFTER MY IPCC IN NOV 2010, I STARTED ARTICLESHIP ON 15/02/2011 AND IT WILL BE ENDING ON 14/02/2014 AS ON RECORDS. MY FINAL ATTEMPT WAS ON NOV 2013. MY TOTAL LEAVE TILL 30/11/2013 IS 379 DAYS INCLUDING 1 YEAR HOLIDAY FOR FINAL CLASSES AND PREPARATION. DURING FILLING EXAM FORM IN AUGUST 2013, MY BOSS SIGNED THE FORM AS WELL AS CLAUSE THAT MY ARTICLESHIP WILL BE ENDING ON 14/02/2014 IN “CERTIFICATE OF SERVICE” PART. BUT INSTITUTE AGAIN SENT THE “CERTIFICATE OF SERVICE” TO ALL STUDENTS WHO HAD THEIR FINAL ATTEMPT FOR FIRST TIME AND IT WAS TO BE FILLED AND SIGNED AND SEND BACK TO ICAI TILL 15TH DEC 2013 SO THAT THEY WILL PUBLISH RESULT. NOW BOSS IS NOT SIGNING THE “CERTIFICATE OF SERVICE” PART SAYING THAT I WILL BE TRAPPED IF ANYTHING FALSE ARISES. IF THE “CERTIFICATE OF SERVICE” IS NOT SENT TO ICAI TILL 15TH DEC 2013, THEY WILL NOT DECLARE MY RESULT. TOO MUCH WORRIED. ANY HELP???? PLEASE .MY MAIL ID IS VIRAJ0032@GMAIL.COM

convince your boss the trouble u may face if he doesnt sign and ask him politely that its question of your life as if u clear u wont be able to go ahaed in life without result.

YES BUT I M TRYING TO CONVIENCE HIM FROM LASE WEEK . NO USE. HE IS INTRESTED IN NUMBERS. HE SAID GIVE ME CALCULATION HOW CAN I SAY THAT YOUR ARTICLESHIP WILL END IN 14/02/2014 WITHOUT ANY EXTENSION?? IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO DO SO. SO IS THERE ANY SOLUTION NUMERICALLY. DOES ICAI REALLY SCRUTINISE EVERY SUCH CASES???

Please refer below example how to caluculate leave eligible for total period of articleship,,
An article completed 3 years of articleship till now. So,
Total working days: 365*3 = 1,095 days Leaves Taken so far = 100 days Actual period Served = 995 days Leaves Earned = 1/6th on 995 = 165 days Leave entitled (subject to sanction of leave by your Principal) = 65 days (165-100 days) .. if your leave taken is more than leave entitled you have to serve for the remaining period with him

But as you said you already given attempt this time giving some date as date of completion of articles . . so strict to that date of completion of articles ,,and ask your boss to give service certificate for that period . . after above caluculation if it says you have to serve for more period with due trust and good respects with your boss serve for excess leave taken with him . . note that if your employer certifies that your articles end on so and so date icai will consider that as date of completion date ,,you have to adjust your leave accordingly so that articleship will completes with date given to icai before . . so convince your boss to certify as what he did before,,and promise him that you will work with him if any excess period required to served under him

thanks , my leave is around 400 days during the articleship period of 3 yrs. and my boss is saying to adjust the same without showing extension. which is not possible... harrasement.

reduce your leave and increase your working days
if your boss accepts for it no problem to do so,,as per icai records you can complete articleship but with due respect you have to work with your boss for excess leave taken if he asks to do
