As per icai regulations..
An article has to work 35 hrs minimum per week.
So I.e. 7 hrs per day for 5 days..
So Saturday can be assumed as a non~working day.
most of the ca firms where my friends' work they are not working on saturdays.
But in my firm Saturday is a working day.
So in my articleship leave calculation, Can I claim compensatory leave on the total number of saturdays which I have worked??
Is it permissible?

Not possible because it is as per the practise of firm .. it is not your firm practice to giveholiday on saturday so you cant take it as compoff . . you can take compoff only if you have worked beyond your office timings and that too with the approval of your boss only
