I want to serve my extension (3 months) under another principal. But my current principal is not allowing me to do so. My articleship will be terminated on 29.2.2012 under the present employer. Does my present employer have the authority to stop me from switching?

thank u so much CA shriyans...but i am giving my final exam attempt in may. so can he refuse to sign. and i have to obtain his signature because i am given on paper extension by him. cannot obtain the signature of someone else.
