06 July 2024 To inform the CPC (Centralized Processing Center) about the condonation allowed by the Commissioner of Income Tax (Exemptions) for the delay in submission of Form 10BB for A.Y. 2023-2024, you should follow these steps:

1. **Prepare a Cover Letter**: Write a cover letter addressed to the CPC explaining the condonation granted by the Commissioner of Income Tax (Exemptions). Mention the relevant details such as the assessee's PAN, assessment year, and the specific nature of the condonation (i.e., delay in submission of Form 10BB).

2. **Attach Supporting Documents**: Include copies of the following documents along with your cover letter:
- Copy of the condonation order issued by the Commissioner of Income Tax (Exemptions).
- Any other relevant documents related to the condonation or delay in filing Form 10BB.

3. **Send the Communication**: You can send the communication to the CPC either physically or electronically, depending on the preferred mode of submission. If sending physically, use registered post or courier service for tracking purposes. If sending electronically, ensure you follow the specific guidelines provided by the CPC for document submission.

4. **Follow-up**: After submitting the communication, monitor for any acknowledgments or updates from the CPC regarding the status of the condonation and the processing of Form 10BB.

5. **Retain Proof of Submission**: Keep copies of all documents submitted and proof of submission (such as postal receipts or electronic confirmation) for your records.

By following these steps, you can effectively inform the CPC about the condonation allowed by the Commissioner of Income Tax (Exemptions) and ensure compliance with the requirements for A.Y. 2023-2024. If you need specific contact details or addresses for CPC submission, you may refer to the official Income Tax Department website or contact their helpline for assistance.
