There are two ways to file Form 1A.
1) not certified by practicing professional -
In this case you can give 6 names for the company in order of your preference. The form will be digitally signed only by the applicant.
2) Certified by practicing professional - In this case you can give only one name for the Company. The form will be digitally signed by both, the applicant and practicing professional. Basically this option is provided because a practicing professional is an expert and will check the availability of the proposed name before signing the form. The chances of name getting allotted in this case is more. Also, the professional who has signed the form will be held responsible if later on it is found that the name was undesirable.
