Can an Additional Director be appointed as a Managing Director in a Public Company.
We want to appoint an Additional Director in the Board Meeting (our AOA permits us)and in the same meeting we want to appoint him as a MD. So can we do so.

Yes...an Additional Director can be appointed as MD in the same BM.
